About the event
Sinners (2025) is a supernatural horror period film written, produced, and directed by Ryan Coogler. Set in 1932 in Clarksdale, Mississippi, it follows twin brothers Smoke and Stack who return to their hometown to start a juke joint. They are confronted by a terrifying supernatural entity that preys on the community.
Sinners was an absolute powerhouse during the 2025–2026 awards season, sweeping over 200 industry accolades. The film set the all-time record for the most Academy Award nominations ever received by a single film, earning four Oscars and numerous other major trophies
