Pilates Without the Pressure

Service Description
This foundational Pilates series will focus on how to find and use our breath and our core to learn the fundamental principles of Pilates. Pilates is a gentle, yet effective, exercise to improve our posture, strengthen our core/back/hips to help decrease chronic pain, decrease risk of injuries, and build confidence in our bodies. Bring your mat and water bottle! Instructor: Tess Vaughn, PT, DPT, OCS, COMT, PCES, DN Dr. Tess Vaughn is a physical therapist with 30 yrs of experience in treating the spine, joints, and sports injuries. She is also specialized in Pelvic Health and Dry Needling (DN). Tess has been teaching Pilates classes for a number of years and incorporates her PT knowledge of the spine, pelvis, hips, core, and the pelvic floor into her Pilates classes. Tess is proud to call Winterville her hometown and she has had a PT clinic in Winterville since 2005.
